New feature: Trending sounds templates on Mojo

We are thrilled to introduce our latest feature in the app: Trending sounds templates. You may already know that you can gain more engagement by using trending audio in your posts, but now, it's easier than ever to do so.

In this article, we'll dive into Mojo's trending sounds video templates so that you understand exactly how to use them to your advantage. And, after reading the instructions, you'll be able to create your next video in seconds - literally!

What are the trending sounds templates on Mojo?

When you download the Mojo app and create your account, you'll see hundreds of unique templates that you can customize to your liking.

Our newest feature, trending audio video templates, is super easy to access in the app. These templates are optimized for high engagement and look amazing when you add a trending sound to the video.

Our app shows you what it will look like (and sound like) with some trending songs. However, you'll choose your audio later on in the process.

How to use our sounds templates to create awesome video content

The new trending sounds feature on Mojo may be our best yet. It is super easy to use and lightning fast - seriously! Check it out in the app.

Otherwise, here is a step-by-step to make sure you can get the most out of our newest video templates!

Step 1 - Navigate through the app

First, make sure you download the Mojo app and create your account. Feel free to add your branding to the Brand Kit as well.

For the best user experience and the most options, we suggest upgrading to Mojo Pro. Use can also create a Teams account.

Once you're ready to create a post with trending audio, open the app. There are a couple ways to access our latest feature.

One way is to navigate to the top bar on the app homepage. On the right side, you'll see a category called "Trends." Tap the header, and you'll go to an ongoing feed of our trending sounds templates.

Another way is to explore new templates on our app homepage. When you open the app, simply scroll down until you see a horizontal selection of "Trending sound for Reels." From there, you can swipe to see all of the video templates.

When you're browsing the templates, you can see how many pieces of media you'll need to complete the template (see the photos icon on the bottom left).

Click on your top trending sounds Reels template. Tap the "Use template" button on your screen.

Step 2 - Add your media

Once you pick your favorite trending audio template, it's time to add your media! The templates are already timed and optimized to display a selection of photos or videos.

Within the template, you'll be prompted to select photos or video from your phone. You can also use stock media. Just tap, tap, tap! The app will automatically fill in the template as you go. If you want to replace a photo or video, just tap the image and reselect.

Within seconds, you'll have a cinematic Instagram Reel loaded up with your media. Be sure to save your masterpiece!

Step 3 - Head to Instagram

Where do the trending sounds come in? Once you've loaded all of your media into the template, your video will have no audio. To use the most recent trending audio, head to the Instagram app. When you're ready to post, add your Mojo video and add trending sounds right within Instagram.

This ensures that you are using the most updated trending sounds possible. Plus, you'll be able to analyze which sound is best for your post. For more information about Mojo's trending sounds templates, you can always tap the "How does sound work?" within the template editor.

Step 4 - Choose trending audio

As stated above, you'll add trending songs to your Reels once you're ready to post in the Instagram app. As a reminder, here is one of the easiest ways to find trending sounds on Instagram:

1. Scroll through IG Reels. As you swipe past each post, locate the audio track used in the bottom left corner of the screen. Some audio tracks have a music note. Trending audio tracks have an upward arrow.
   
2. Find the Reels that have an upward arrow next to the audio. Click to learn more about the trending sound. You can see how many Reels have already used this track.
   
3. Save the audio for later, send to a friend or use right away. Click the corresponding icons. If you decide to use the audio right away, you'll be prompted to record your Reels or upload existing files.

Step 5 - Publish for the world to see

Once you find trending sounds to accompany your Instagram Reel, publish it for your followers (and new, future followers) to see!

And that's it! Luckily, the process is super fast so you can quickly jump on the latest Instagram trend. If you get wind of a new sound, just hop over to Mojo, fill up your video template and head right back to Instagram.
